We started with the mozza sticks and they were just as incredible as the social media posts make them look. Warm, gooey, and all delicious! My husband had the all beef meatballs with risotto and I had the lasagna. Both were fantastic! So fresh and well made. For dessert we tried the lemon tart and warm banana split. Both very decadent. Our server, Kendra, made us feel welcome and well taken care of for the entire visit. Worth every penny and cannot wait to return! ”
“ Came for the first time with my wife for Dine Around 2025. I had the risotto balls and my wife had crispy fried artichokes as appetizers. Both were good but really enjoyed the artichokes. They are a little spicy so if that’s an issue be warned. I had the Basil Pesto Ditalini with meatballs my wife had the Baked Rigatoni. For dessert had Affogato and my wife had 2 Scoops of Ice Cream. Food was great but the service was superior. We lucked into getting a table on a busy Friday night without a reservation but it was next to the door which made it a bit on the loud side for us. But no complaints, we were lucky to get a table and still had a great time. Will reserve next time. All in all, great date spot or dinner with your family. ”

Our server Kendra was so friendly and attentive; she always made sure our drinks were topped up and gave us great suggestions :) The food was good overall, I personally really enjoyed the pasta part of the spiced salmon dish, although there were a few bones in the salmon. The lasagna was decent, a bit mushy for my taste. Chicken parm sando, sketti fries, and banana split were all great and very satisfying. It’s pretty cool that you can “build your own” pasta too! ”
“ From the moment we walked in and were shown our seats, we absolutely fell in love with Sketti & Ball. There’s something so warm and inviting about the place that you immediately start to relax and look forward to diving into the menu and food. The drinks were on point, that bread and butter was to die for - I never quite know how or why bread and butter is so comforting, but I think when it’s nice and warm and crunch, pairing with the smooth butter and taking that first bite is a sure fire way to find bliss. Second we got the meatball trio and then the special of the day, the charcoal and lobster tortellini. Every single bit was a delight with the flavours just bursting into our mouth, especially what felt like confit cherry tomatoes. We finished off with their famous Lemon Tart, some coffee and my partner has a beautiful whiskey sour. But what stood out most to us and made our evening that extra special was not just the food or the atmosphere but Kendra, who is quite literally sunshine in human form. She was funny and attentive and made us feel like we were having dinner at an old friend’s and quite honestly, delivered what possibly is the best service we’ve ever received in Halifax. Her hospitality just enriched the entire experience and I know that I’ll be visiting again, not just for the amazing food, but also for Kendra and her cheer. Thank you to the amazing chefs at Sketti as well who were so kind to accommodate my dietary restriction even though I was ok to order something else entirely. Your little effort left such an imprint on my heart. These guys are incredible and I would recommend everyone to stop by for a whole experience at Sketti & Ball Co. ”
